In high-stakes environments, AI-generated work must still be checked for unsupported claims, incorrect authorities, inconsistencies and other consequential errors. Skipping that review can expose organisations to legal liability, regulatory penalties and reputational damage.

Benchmark task: a 1,500-word objective legal research memorandum prepared in connection with an insurance-coverage dispute - approximately 3-6 pages depending on formatting. The task required researching and verifying Massachusetts and New Hampshire case law and took approximately 182 minutes without AI and 134-139 minutes with AI. It was an internal legal memorandum, not a court filing. *The 12-minute first-draft segment and the approximately 56-minute Defensibly scenario are illustrative approximations, not measured product-performance claims.
